We are all familiar with the “prancing horse” or Cavallino Rampante symbol that is associated with the one and only Ferrari brand of cars. This luxury sports automobile manufacturer was founded in Italy and have over 80 years of successful experience in the industry. While their cars can be quite expensive, they sell cars extremely powerful and offer specifications only a handful of cars can compete with. Although the Italian manufacturer has a long lineup of sports and racing cars under their belt, only 4 models have made it to the Indian market for sale with no upcoming models in sight for the near future. Replacing the 2015 Ferrari California T, the Ferrari Portofino was officially launched in India on September 2018 at a price of 3.5 Crore. It is also the most affordable car on offer which could get a number of interested buyers setting up their RC transfer papers soon enough. Powering the car is a 3.9L V8 Twin-Turbo petrol engine that comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Going from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.5 seconds and 0 to 200kmph in 10.8 seconds, the Portofino is faster than its predecessor, the California T in every way possible. The car has a top speed of 320kmph and a mileage of 9.0kmpl with an 81-liter fuel tank housed on it. On the front, the Portofino has a large grille with LED headlamps above it on either side. Below that, the car has two air dams on its rather large bumper. The rear of the car has circular LED taillights along with a total of 4 exhaust caps sitting below the broad rear bumper. Inside the Portofino, the car features leather seats and a leather steering wheel as well as a leather dashboard. The instrument cluster is completely digital and the car houses a touchscreen infotainment system and control panel as well.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast was launched in India as the most expensive model in the country and currently sits as 5.2 Crore. It is the successor to the F12 Berlinetta and is considered as one of the most powerful vehicles from the brand. Housing a 6.5L naturally-aspirated V12 petrol engine, the 812 Superfast can reach speeds of up to 340kmph and can travel from 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds. The engine is mated to a 7-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transmission and features the brands Slip Slide Control technology for superior traction and control while driving at high speeds. Some of the other features on the 812 Superfast include anti-lock braking, driver and passenger airbags, a multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, voice control, and adjustable seats.

Considered to be one of the most modern second hand cars from Ferrari, the 488 is a performer that truly delivers on all levels. Taking over from the 458 Italia, the 488 houses a 3.9L Twin-Turbocharged V8 petrol engine that features a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and offers Rear-Wheel-Drive for superior control. The car is capable of going from 0-200kmph in a very impressive 8.3 seconds and has an engine displacement of 3902cc. The exterior of the car has a familiar design that is found on most Ferrari cars and the front bumper is divided into 3 sections for better air intake. Above that, the car features vertically placed pulled-back LED headlamps while the rear houses the same circular taillights found on most models. There are air dams on the front, behind the doors, and at the back to help keep the engine running smoothly at all times. Fitted with leather seats, a leather steering wheel and a leather dashboard with digital control panels, the 488 is stylish and modern in equal measurements.

One of the most awaited cars from Ferrari was the GTC4Lusso which was finally made available to the market in 2016 at a price range of 4.26 – 4.97 Crore. This high-end coupe doesn’t feature the familiar design of regular Ferrari cars, but it is still one of the most powerful options available. The GTC4Lusso comes fitted with a 6.3L petrol engine that can reach 0-100kmph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 335kmph. The 7-speed automatic transmission offers a 697Nm of torque with a 6262cc engine displacement. The front of the car has a large grille with air dams on either side of it to keep the engine cool. Above the grille sits two vertically placed LED headlamps that also come with fog lamps. The back of the GTC4Lusso is where the design shifts away from the norm and features an SUV/hatchback design. The same circular taillights can be found on the car and the 4 exhaust caps add the extra sporty feel to the car. One of the best features of the GTC4Lusso is its interiors as it features stylish leather finish seats, a large touchscreen infotainment setup, a digital instrument cluster, and a multi-function steering wheel.
